These Terms of Service apply to all services offered by Okairy Rodriguez, LCSW, including Therapy, Life Coaching, Live Chart Reading, Recorded Astrology Reading, and Recorded Tarot Reading. By booking and paying for any service, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully, especially the sections that describe each service and the refund policy.
Therapy services are clinical psychotherapy provided under a Licensed Clinical Social Worker license. These sessions are governed by applicable state law, professional ethics, and the standard scope of LCSW practice. By booking a Therapy session, you acknowledge that you understand the clinical nature of this service and agree to the standard professional boundaries that apply.
Therapy sessions are not appropriate for psychiatric emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, intent to harm yourself or others, or any other emergency, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are not a substitute for emergency mental health care.
Mandated reporting laws apply. As a licensed clinician, Okairy is legally required to report credible disclosures of child abuse, elder abuse, dependent adult abuse, or imminent threat of harm to self or others, in accordance with state law. This is the only circumstance under which clinical confidentiality is broken without your consent.
Life Coaching is distinct from Therapy. Life Coaching is a partnership focused on developing the client's awareness, thinking, and abilities in support of identifying and moving toward their own goals. Sessions are direct and honest, and clients are invited to bring the same. The success of any coaching engagement depends on the client's commitment to and openness in the process.
Coaching is a process, not a single conversation. Many people create change for themselves quickly, but to refine and sustain that change typically takes several months. Clients are encouraged to expect a coaching engagement to last at least three months, although this is not binding and individual sessions may be booked as needed.
The coaching commitment is to honor the time of each session, hold what is shared in confidence, hold no judgment, respect the client's view of their own world, and concentrate on what is working in the client's life and how to build more of it. The work proceeds from the assumption that the client already holds their own answers; the coach's role is to bring awareness, clarity, and, where the client chooses, action.
Life Coaching is not psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or clinical care. The clinical confidentiality and treatment standards that apply to Therapy do not apply in the same way to Life Coaching, although personal information shared remains private as described in the Privacy Policy.
If during a Life Coaching session it becomes clear that clinical care is needed, Okairy may recommend a transition to Therapy services or refer out to a qualified provider.
Live Chart Reading is a one-on-one session that uses astrological symbolism to support reflection and self-understanding. It is offered for educational, reflective, and entertainment purposes. It is not predictive of specific future events, financial outcomes, medical outcomes, or relationship outcomes. It is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice.
Recorded readings are delivered as a video or audio recording, typically within five business days of payment and intake completion. These readings use astrological or tarot symbolism for educational, reflective, and entertainment purposes. They are not predictive of specific future events. They are not a substitute for therapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice.
Once a recorded reading has been delivered to your email, the service is considered complete and refunds are not available.
You must be 18 years or older to book any service. By booking, you confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement and that the information you provide during intake is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Service fees are charged at the time of booking through Stripe. Your time slot, where applicable, is reserved upon completed payment. Current pricing is shown on the services page.
For live services (Therapy, Life Coaching, Live Chart Reading): full refunds are available within 24 hours of payment if no session has been delivered. After 24 hours, no cash refunds are issued. The service value is held as credit toward a future session for 90 days from the original payment date. Credit not used within 90 days is forfeited.
For recorded services (Astrology, Tarot): refunds are available within 24 hours of payment, only if the recorded reading has not yet been delivered. Once the recording is delivered, the service is complete and refunds are not available.

Live sessions must be scheduled within 14 days of payment, with a minimum of 3 days lead time from the booking date. Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours notice. Less than 24 hours notice is treated as a missed session and applied against the 90 day credit window. Missed sessions without notice are not refunded and are not eligible for rescheduling.
If the client is more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled session without prior notice, the session is treated as cancelled and the session value is forfeited. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time so that the time held is honored on both sides.
Live sessions are not recorded by default. If recording would be useful, it requires mutual agreement before the session begins. You may decline recording at any time.
For Recorded Astrology and Tarot services, the recording is the deliverable and is created specifically for you.
Information you share is kept private as described in the Privacy Policy. For Therapy services, clinical confidentiality applies, with the legally required exceptions stated in section 2. For other services, confidentiality is professional and ethical, with disclosure only where required by law or where there is a credible threat of harm to yourself or others.
No service offered through this practice predicts your future, diagnoses any condition, or guarantees any outcome. Astrology and tarot are symbolic and reflective tools, not predictions. Therapy and Life Coaching support your own process of insight and change. The application of any session content to your life is your own decision.
Sessions may be terminated, refused, or future bookings declined for harassment, threats, abusive conduct, or behavior that puts safety or the integrity of the practice at risk. Termination for these reasons is at sole discretion and does not require refund beyond the policy stated above. For Therapy services, termination follows applicable clinical and ethical standards, including referral to another qualified provider when appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Okairy Rodriguez and any associated business entity are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from any session or service, except as required by applicable law for licensed clinical practice.
These terms may be updated at any time. The date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued booking of services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
