This Privacy Policy applies to okairyrodriguez.com (the "Site") and to the services provided by Okairy Rodriguez ("Okairy," "we," "us") through the Site: Mentorship, Live Chart Reading, Recorded Astrology Reading, and Recorded Tarot Reading. It explains what information is collected, how it is used, how it is shared, how it is protected, and the rights you have over it.
The Services on this Site are non-clinical. No clinical psychotherapy is provided through this Site, no Protected Health Information under HIPAA is collected, and no clinical records are kept. Okairy's clinical license is disclosed in the Terms of Service but is not exercised through this Site.
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and minimal cookies needed for the Site to function. Analytics, if used, is configured to anonymize IP addresses where the analytics tool supports that setting.
Your information is not sold to third parties. It is not used for behavioral advertising. It is not shared outside the working relationship except as described in this Policy.
The operation of this practice depends on a small set of third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy and security practices.
Vendors are reviewed for reasonable security practices. Vendor selection is reviewed if a vendor's terms or practices change materially.
Live sessions are not recorded by default. Where recording is mutually agreed, recordings are stored privately, are not shared with any third party, and are deleted on your written request.
Recorded astrology and tarot readings are created specifically for you and delivered via private link. The link is not posted publicly and is not searchable. Recordings are retained on the delivery platform for a reasonable access window and may be removed at your request.
Booking and intake records are retained for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to satisfy accounting and tax obligations, typically up to seven (7) years. Email communications are retained for the duration of the working relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter.
You may request deletion of personal data at any time. Deletion does not affect records required for legal or financial compliance.

If you are a California resident, additional protections may apply under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). Personal information is not "sold" or "shared" for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA. California residents may request the categories of personal information collected about them in the last twelve months, the purposes of collection, and any third parties to whom it has been disclosed for a business purpose. If you are physically located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland at the time you interact with this Site or book a Service, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") may apply. The lawful basis for processing your information is generally one of the following: your consent (for the newsletter), the performance of a contract (for booked Services), or compliance with legal obligation (for tax and recordkeeping). Data is transferred to the United States, where the Services are operated. By booking a Service, you consent to that transfer. You have the rights described in Section 7. The supervisory authority of your country may be contacted for unresolved concerns.
The Site and all Services are directed to adults 18 years of age or older. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact hello@okairyrodriguez.com and the information will be deleted.
Reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards are used to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls limiting who can view records, and secure storage. No method of online transmission or storage is fully secure. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
In the event of a breach of personal information, notification will be provided to affected individuals as required by applicable state breach notification law (including California and Texas), without unreasonable delay.
The Site uses only the minimum cookies needed for basic functionality. Any analytics is configured to minimize identifiability (anonymized IPs where the tool supports that setting, no cross-site tracking). You can disable cookies in your browser without losing essential Site functionality.
This Policy may be updated at any time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or booking of Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
